Access is denied

After using iMacros successfully for years, all of a sudden, none of my macros work. I'm getting the following error:

Error -1300: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)). Line 5: TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT ATTR=NAME:userid CONTENT=TRN01

I am trying to sign into a database. I can record the macro and successfully sign in but when I play the macro back, it doesn't work. Could this be related to Windows 8.1?

I'm using Windows 8.1 and IE 11 and the free version of iMacros, version 10.2.26.4235. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I honestly have no idea... Does the "all of a sudden" mean that you upgraded your OS to Win8.1 and that it was working before...?
You need to find the Difference(s) between before and after, what has changed in your Environment..., maybe some IE Patch got installed...?
On the same Machine, try if your Macro(s) work(s) on Firefox.

"...none of my macros work." => Not even the Demo Macros...?

Check your IE ActiveX/JavaScript Permissions...

There was a Licensing Problem with the DotNet iMacros Component stopping to work on the 1st of January 2015, check the DotNet Sub-Forum to see if this could be related...

Thanks for the suggestions. I believe 8.1 was installed on my computer in September and I used iMacros after that successfully. I have tried it with Chrome and got different errors. I shall try Firefox next. Wish I could figure out what changed.

Hi KarenN - Did you ever find a solution to this?

I'm having the exact same problem with my macros, and it began on December 28th. None of my macros are working, and keep getting the following error message:

Error -1300: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)). Line 13: TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ACTION:/content.aspx?key=PropertySearch ATTR=NAME:ctl03$txtStreetNumber CONTENT={{!COL1}}

I'm also using Windows 8.1 and IE 11 and the free version of iMacros, version 10.2.26.4235. Tried using imacros with Firefox, but get the same error.

I suspect a java update caused the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. I'm a newbie.

Any help is appreciated.

I would say try all the Suggestions I mentioned..., but hum, if you mention that you suspect a Java Update, there was indeed a Pb reported after Java updating to v8..., try to revert to Java v7.5, I've prevented because of that Pb Java to update to v8 in the last few weeks...

FYI - Found the answer - Imacros released a new version 10.3 as of Jan 12 2015, fixing the error.
Apparently the error was caused by a windows update.

I downloaded the new version 10.3, and macros are working fine. Thanks to I macros!

THANK YOU @outstanding!! I downloaded the new version and things have vastly improved. Haven't done the full macro yet but at least it will log me into my database. I appreciate the help.
