USING WINCLICK

Just trying to make sure I understand something crystal clear.

If you start off using TAG during your record sessions and then switch to WINCLICK in the middle of the way, you can't go back to using TAG again correct?

The reason I ask is because I have a page where I use tag to fill in some input fields then switch to WINCLICK mid-way to fill in a browse for file field (suggested workaround for file upload issues) and then at the end have a submit button which brings up a dialog button that asks if I'm sure if I want to do this.

(F)CIM...! (Read my Sig...)

The 'WINCLICK' Command/Mode has been deprecated about 10 years ago already, from the last Modif on the Wiki Page, oops...! :?
=> I'm very curious about which FCI/Version you are (still) using...!? :?
... Without saying that if you've been using iMacros for that long already, you should by now be able to answer absolutely all Threads on the Forum, ah-ah...!

But OK, even without knowing your FCI, you can mix/combine all different Modes in a same ('.iim') Macro, 'TAG' + 'CLICK' + 'DS' + 'EVENT' Modes, keeping in mind that some Mode(s) is/are not supported in all Browsers/Versions..., the 'DS' Mode for example (which superseded "your" 'WINCLICK' Mode) is only supported on iMB/IE, and if using iMB indeed, the 'EVENT' Mode only got implemented from v11.5 I think...

And that "normally" even still works for Deprecated Modes, like your 'WINCLICK' Mode, or the 'CLICK X/Y' Mode as well on FF (deprecated from v9.0.3 for FF), old(er) Scripts using that Mode still work in v9.0.3, even if that Version is not able to do any new Recording in that Mode anymore... 8)
