Forum and Post Approval for New Users...

Post by chivracq » Sun Jun 09, 2019 3:49 am

=> Might take a bit longer for your 1st Post to get approved, during this Pinkster-WE, as I'm going a bit away from Su. afternoon till Tu. afternoon. (My EUR-NL Time.)
I'm going to some Festival for 2 days, somewhere in the middle of nowhere (where they do speak English), but I'm not sure I will have Access to Internet there..., to check the Forum and approve New Posts... (I'm a DJ IRL, and I'll be playing there both days..., 6h + 8h Sets...)

I tried to ping TechSup yesterday before the WE in Europe to ask them to check the Forum on Mo. + Tu. morning, but I'm not sure if they saw my Msg... (And I'm the only Mod on the Forum... 8) )

I will actually have some AI-Script of mine running all that time, but I don't "dare" yet to give it "Full Power", I still need a bit of time to test it a bit further to make sure it works very reliably and cannot get "fooled" by fake Users and Spammers...
But I will see and analyze the Results on Tuesday when I'm back... 8)

(I will post an Update or will delete this Thread if I happen to be able to check the Forum a bit OK-regularly... )
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE').
- I don't even read the Qt if that (required) Info is not mentioned...!
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...

OK, I'm back, after 2 days without Internet indeed... Funny "Feeling", ah-ah...!

Only Spammers and "fake" Users tried to post on the Forum, that my Script (would have) "spotted" correctly..., and "luckily", no "legit" Users had to wait for their Post to get approved...

No Captcha at all on the Forum, => A bit Thanks to me actually moderating all (New) Posts... 8)

And..., beh..., pfffffffffffffffff..., I'm a big Fighter for OpenSource, but re-pffff..., nope, I don't intend to disclose it, or only to TechSup...
Fighting Spam on a Forum is a continuous Cat&Mouse "Game", I'm pretty Advanced and "more" Advanced I think, but if I disclosed my Script, "they" (= Ze Stupidoos Spammers!) would analyze it and could find ways to bypass it (I guess..., wel, I would...!!), even if it contains some AI-Tech and is Self-Learning and Auto-Morphing, and I'm still improving it... :P

I still have about 1 month, as I just got the good News that I'll indeed be DJ'ing for a big (hum, the biggest actually I think) Festival in/around Amsterdam ('Landjuwel') and will probably at that time have no or very limited Access to Internet for about 5 or 6 days I think, so I intend to make it "the big Boss" then, ah-ah, gniarf-gniarf...!

And hopefully TechSup will be able to check a bit also from time to time, but I think they would often get fooled by Spammers and my Script will be more "reliable"...

Had the "Discussion" last week about a Post I disapproved and that was 100% Spam for me without any doubt, and I only let them (TechSup) know about this specific one because the Spammer used a new sneaky Method, it took several hours of back and forth Communication before they could see "I was right", they would have approved that Post directly without any single Doubt about a possible Spammer...

Only once a year maybe I see a Chinese Spammer trying to post about some Porn Site... Spammers are way-way sneakier nowadays, ah-ah...!! It's a really "funny" Cat&Mouse Game now, ah-ah...! But I "see" about [5-10] Spams a day on average (which don't even appear on the Forum), from all kinds of different sources, and all thinking they are the cleverest, but tja...!, I'm pretty well trained to spot them after nearly 4 years moderating the Forum, ah-ah...! :P

But hum-hum, you give me an "Idea" @thecoder2012..., ah-ah...! OK, I can contact you off-Forum through your Site... 8)

Yes but your time is not unlimited.

Not always. I have seen forums without captcha and without "your" anti-spam system. Few text questions was enough. And forums with very funny captchas. No standard solutions are very helpful.
One forum has the "best" solution: No new user 8)

Boah..., in a way it is, and/or I have developed a few Scripts that "tell" me "afterwards" "everything" that "happened" on the Forum if I was away for several hours, ah-ah...! I see new Posts or Replies of course from automatic Notifs but also Users who "silently" edited their Post(s) (typical Spam-Behaviour)...

And yep indeed the 'prosilver-imacros' is the Board-Style to use, for me and you, didn't come "standard", was added a bit later upon my "Asking" and I (deliberately) didn't really mention it, still because of Spammers, don't say why, you'll quickly understand...
Most Users only check the Forum if they've just started a Thread, they don't really care about the "Layout", it's mostly only relevant for me, as I have it 24/24 displayed on one of my 3 Screens, if any Notif comes out...
But I'm glad you are like me about the "new" Interface of the Forum and prefer the "old" 'prosilver' one...! :D

Yeah, probably before..., at least "my current" Version... 8)

I do Versioning with all Software I write (or used to write, I used to be a "very" Advanced (or sorry!, "they" prefer the Term "Senior") Dev for (all) Dutch Banks and (2x) Ministries in NL, I think I know how to write Code and to keep track of every Version ah-ah...! (Even for myself, and I also apply it to my own iMacros Scripts..., and of course even more "consequently" for Scripts I might have to share one day..., like the ones I made for the Forum... I currently use about 10 Scripts for my Forum Mod Tasks, and only 2 I have shared with TechSup..., in case i wouldn't be available... for a few days... (Didn't get any Feedback btw..., I guess my Scripts were already too Advanced for them, ah-ah...! )
(And I only do pure '.iim', ah-ah...!, or they trust me "too much", ah-ah...! )

Nan-Nan-Nan..., you are completely wrong..., at least for OUR Forum, believe me, "fake" Users and Spammers are very sneaky and humumum "clever" nowadays, they really do their best to go unnoticed, just trying to "squeeze" a Link to their Site, many time just on a space or Dot, knowing Search Engines will see and index those Links (I did the "Experiment" once with TechSup, "hiding" about 10 Links in a Post of mine to "demonstrate" how Spammers were "working", they didn't "see" one single one...!), and when they (= Spammers) try to post on our Forum, their Post/Topic look very-very Legit and completely about iMacros, and I think that TechSup or anybody without my "4 year" Experience as (Anti-Spam) Mod would approve "wrongly" about 60% of Posts that would actually be Spam (and sometimes edited silently 4-6 months later, while I "feel" them "directly" now, and I'm very confident I never make a Mistake, in the last 18 months, maybe 10 times I let a Post through "with doubts" but gave the User the "Advantage of the Doubt", and all 10 times, the User indeed later edited silently their Post into Spam... (But I was monitoring them of course, so pfff, I noticed it then...)

But I think I'm always a bit more Advanced in this Cat&Mouse Game, the "New Form of Spam" I had mentioned in some other Thread, I had thought about it about 9 months ago already, and indeed the first "Sample" came last week, and I also have some possible other (New) Forms, already integrated in my AI-Script... (Hum, the "Beast" is actually getting slowly more advanced/clever than me, oops...!) And if I missed "anything" up-front, the same + another Script report any "suspicious" Activity on the Forum, nobody can log to the Forum without me knowing it (or being able to check afterwards, I'm not always home, and I don't always check the Logs), unless I lose Int. Co for a while, which also sometimes happens.... grrr...!

Hum, OK, I will like your FB Link/Page, like I mentioned somewhere else, 'Twitter' doesn't work AT ALL on PM26... OK, I just liked your FB-Page, can be handy indeed... 8)
(Only FB Connections I now have related to iMacros are you and other Advanced User 'Alex686' from his Plug-in for Remote Control from a SmartPhone...
You'll see me as a "Liker", you'll be the only 2, I "normally" keep FB for "Private" Use, and I usually always turn down all "Help-me-Help-me-I-have-a-Qt-about-iMacros-PLEASE-HELP-ME...!!!!", (happens once a week on avg, sorry Guys, no need to try, you only annoy me, I only help through the Forum...!), but I guess this doesn't apply to you, ah-ah...! Luckily...! )

Hum, on FB-Page... => 'Sign up' Button => Land up on your Site => 'Copyright 2018', good-good, I'm going to copy the whole Site... (Hum, and 'Google+' is dead, I thought...!?)
Oops, and did sbd speaking "a bit correct English" ever tried to read your 'TOS', ah-ah...!?, I gave up before the end of the 2nd Paragraph, this is completely incomprehensible, ah-ah...!, still wondering who the "Operator" is, was not defined, only a/the "Company", then I got a bit lost..., I don't dare to click on other Pages of the Site, ah-ah...
Have some Native English Speaker review your 'TOS' with some mini-Legal-Law Knowledge, your TOS wouldn't stand 3 Sec if you ever get any Adversary Lawyer attacking you or defending from you...

Just an Example about "sneaky" Spam(mer):
+ IP = 45.55.255.1
Please help with 3 line EVAL script(noob ques)
Posted by huuanh2811 » 04/07/2019 - 10:03

Please help with this 3 line script

script does
1.click on handle->Website generate 3 random words
2.check if any of the words match "lucky"
3.Yes->stop macro,No->Loop(clck on handle again, continue till words found)
Note:Sorry,i dont have the exact URL

first 2 lines working fine butI cant figure the syntax of the last line(hence i wrote in pseudo code):
=> Play "Anti-Spam" Mod and tell me why it is Spam...? (And that Post will be disapproved and the User deleted and their IP banned...)
(Well, you already know the "Answer", I wouldn't post their IP if the User was "Legit" or if I had any Doubt... )

We have a new trend in germany with buy computers with secret things, really. 'Bundeswehr' is our german military. See this german source #1,#2 and #3. 8)

Yes 'Google+' is dead and removed in the site. Both fixed. Thanks!
Copyright note is american style and not required in germany (and EU?). :)

The "Company" is linked to the impressum (engl. imprint) and this is in germany required.

"mini-Legal-Law" with america style? No thanks, german style is required. German style lesson 1: TOS is only the translation (quote "This is an English courtesy translation of our original text in the German language. Please consider that only the original version in German has legal value. The official German original text can be found here. ") and 'AGB' (engl. TOS) is not required in germany but useful for site owners. The site was already defended in the first year but you can make a better TOS (or translation) because help is always welcome in all things. The project is 6 years old. Technical issues are bigger in my eyes than the laws because other law things are required in germany. :)
(All only my IMHO!)
