How do I click a button on a website in Firefox?

Post by nbrege » Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:22 pm

I am trying to buy a product that is only available at certain times, from the manufactures website.
When I click the Add To Cart button a window pops up that says
the product is currently unavailable, please check back later. I would like
to create a macro that will automatically click the Add To Cart button at a
certain time interval, like once an hour. If the "Product is currently unavailable" window
pops up, have the macro click the "OK" button on that window. If something else
happens or pops up then somehow notify me, either by email or by playing a
sound. I have no idea what happens when you click the Add To Cart button
when the product IS available. Somehow the macro would have to know that
the "Product Unavailable" window didnt pop up. Is this possible to do with
iMacros? Can anyone help me with the coding? Any help would be much
appreciated. Thanks.

Grrr...!!, this one Approved because I didn't want to "discourage" you "too much", but you are a "stubborn slow learner", and this is not "going to work" if you are hoping for some Help...!

=> I told you in my Disapproval for your 1st Thread that the 'iMacros for FF' was not the correct Sub-Forum as your Thread had nothing specific to FF, especially if you didn't even mention your FCI, (explained in the Forum Rules, that you didn't read...), and that you could reopen your Thread in the correct = 'General' Sub-Forum, but nope..., you chose for the 'iMacros for FF' Sub-Forum again...! Grrr...!

Now you'll have to wait until this Thread will have been moved to the 'General' Sub-Forum (by the Forum Admin), I can't do it myself, before I will eventually help you... :|

=> OK, you've changed your Thread Title a little bit, yeah, "need help" has disappeared, but it is still not very Descriptive, and could still apply to more than 50% of all Threads ever opened on this Forum.
+ You are not sharing a 'HowTo'..., => Can you improve your Thread Title, and at least add a Question Mark...?

=> I asked you to read the Forum Rules, which you didn't do, of course...!
=> (F)CIM...! (Read my Sig also...)

OK, "good luck", and I hope you'll be using the Forum "a bit correctly" from now on..., but this is not "a very good Start"...

- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- FCI not mentioned: I don't even read the Qt...! (or only to catch Spam!)
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...

Oh...!, and of course...!, your "Improvement" is to spam the Forum directly by opening a Duplicate in the 'General' Sub-Forum, pfff...!

OK, never mind, this is getting a bit ridiculous..., I'm out...! Good luck with other (Advanced) Users... :|

Hum..., some good News for you though...:
"Is this possible to do with iMacros?"
=> Answer is "Yes"... :P
