iMacros EOL - Attention!

The renewal maintenance has officially ended for Progress iMacros effective November 20, 2023 and all versions of iMacros are now considered EOL (End-of-Life). The iMacros products will no longer be supported by Progress (aside from customer license issues), and these forums will also no longer be moderated from the Progress side.

Placeholder in PROMPT textbox?

Post by Cornysz » Tue Jul 20, 2021 2:10 am

Code: Select all

BUILD=8970419
Freeware
Win 10
Firefox 56
I just want to ask this simple question, is it possible to place like "placeholder" in PROMPT Box?
So my expectation is, after the prompt is showing, the box to write is filled by my CLIPBOARD String, so I just need to click OK button.
So is this possible? Because this mini feature might be useful and more efficient in my project.

Thank you so much

Yep, Purpose of the '[Default_Value]' Param for the 'PROMPT' Command... :idea:

=> For example:

Code: Select all

VERSION BUILD=8820413 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1

SET !CLIPBOARD "Default_Value (from Clipboard)"
PROMPT Enter<SP>Value: {{!VAR1}} {{!CLIPBOARD}}
WAIT SECONDS=1
PROMPT CLIPBOARD:<SP>_{{!CLIPBOARD}}_<BR>VAR1:<SP>_{{!VAR1}}_
(Tested on iMacros for FF v8.8.2, PM v26.3.3, Win10.)
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- FCI not mentioned: I don't even read the Qt...! (or only to catch Spam!)
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...
