id attributes? WinClick Mode?

Post by bem » Sat Feb 18, 2006 10:53 am

Hello,
we've purchased IIM yesterday (Scripting Edition) and played a little bit with it. First impression is very good but i have some questions:

1) Why does WinClick Mode not work within IE-Plugin ?
Is it planned for upcomming releases?

2) We have encountered problems playing recorded Macros when filling input text fields which has no name attribute.
The input field has only id attribute but in the macro the line is recorded for identifying with attr:name ...
Why that??? When playing the macro it does not work here.

We think that when an id attribute is given for a tag this is the priority identifier for it and iim-redorder should also prefere using it (attr:id ...)

I think this is in harmony with w3c and common practice in ajax-driven/based web-applications we have built and in development.

Any Solutions or workarounds? (without changing page-source-code)

Thanks and Regards...
Bernd
