Click Mode URL not working

Post by mknoll1 » Thu Oct 30, 2008 3:10 pm

I am using Iopus 6.22 build 130 on WIndows XP SP2 with IE version 6.0.2900

I am unable to record anything correctly using the URL Click Mode. No matter what I do the click mode acts as if it is set to TXT. I recorded the following macro to demonstrate what I mean:

Code: Select all

VERSION BUILD=6221002
TAB T=1
TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS
URL GOTO=http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=iopus&aq=f&oq=
'Recorded with Click Mode set to Auto
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:iOpus<SP>|<SP>Web<SP>Browser<SP>Scripting,<SP>Web<SP>Testing,<SP>Web<SP>Scraping<SP>and<SP>...
BACK
'Recorded with Click Mode set to URL
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:iOpus<SP>|<SP>Web<SP>Browser<SP>Scripting,<SP>Web<SP>Testing,<SP>Web<SP>Scraping<SP>and<SP>...
'New page loaded
BACK
'Recorded with Click Mode set to TEXT
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:iOpus<SP>|<SP>Web<SP>Browser<SP>Scripting,<SP>Web<SP>Testing,<SP>Web<SP>Scraping<SP>and<SP>...
'New page loaded
As you can see even though the click mode is set to URL the command recorded is the same. I manually created a command of :

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HREF:http://www.iopus.com/
that does work but I am unable to record this. I am able to get the info I need with the complete HTML option but then I have to read through and edit the command which is a bit more hassle than I am used to.

I confirmed this issue. It will be fixed with the next update in 1-2 weeks.
