!TIMEOUT_STEP

Post by godfada » Thu Jun 09, 2011 9:14 am

Hi,

i made a Script that tests the performance of a specific ajax page with different browsers.
It works perfectly with FF4, FF3.6, IE7. Now im trying to test with Chrome, but i found out that the "!TIMEOUT_STEP" is not implemented.
Its the only thing that doesnt work in my script.
Are there any plans to implement this functionality?
If you guys are planning a new release any time soon it would be great to have this.

Thanks, and keep the good work!.

Hello Godfada,

We do plan to add !TIMEOUT_STEP (as well as many other currently unsupported commands) to iMacros for Chrome in the future.

In the meantime, you can accomplish the same thing by changing the !TIMEOUT value in iMacros for Chrome. This governs the overall page loading timeout as well as the timeout for individual elements, which is 1/10th the value of !TIMEOUT.

So if you want a !TIMEOUT_STEP value of 1 in iMacros for Chrome, you would need to set !TIMEOUT to 10.
