Cannot upload files using iMacros addon for chrome

Post by georgem » Sun Mar 09, 2014 8:08 pm

Hello guys,

I'm having trouble uploading files with iMacros addon for chrome.
I am using:
- imacros addon (VERSION BUILD=6060703) for chrome
- browser: Chrome v.33
- OS: Win XP SP 2
If I run my macros OR Upload.iim ( predefined Demo macro ), when the system reaches 'TYPE=INPUT:FILE' code part, I get: InvalidStateError: Failed to set the 'value' property on 'HTMLInputElement': This input element accepts a filename, which may only be programatically set to the empty string.
N.B. the same script works with iMacros addon for Firefox
If it you get the chance, please check this situation.

Take care

Hello Georgem,

Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, upload functionality cannot be supported on iMacros for Chrome. This is due to technical limitations from Google. However, it is a defect that the Upload.iim exists in the Demo-Chrome macros. We have this fixed in our latest version 7.0.2. Hope this helps.
