Date Format Code Question using !NOW

Post by blender50 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 5:12 pm

I am trying to automate a form that insists on the date in this format: dd,MMM,yyyy i.e. 10,Aug,2017

From what I can see here http://wiki.imacros.net/!NOW this would be impossible. Can anyone figure out how to do this? Also I need to generate the current day and the date from a week earlier.

CIM...! (Read my Sig... (You did better in your previous Thread, ah-ah...!))

Hum, and try to post in the correct Sub-Forum when you open a Thread, the 'iMacros for CR' Sub-Forum is meant for Scripts that work in other Browsers but fail in CR only, which doesn't sound to be the case, especially if you don't mention your FCI... (But no need to duplicate now...)

1- I would have a fairly easy Solution for your 1st Qt (about "dd,MMM,yyyy i.e. 10,Aug,2017") that I've tested to work on FF and that I expect to work as well on CR (if you are indeed using iMacros for CR, but many Users seem to post in some "random" Sub-Forum, so that's no "exact Science"...), Solution that I will post once you'll have mentioned your FCI...

2- In what Format do you need "the current day"...?

3- "Date from a week earlier" => In the same Format like in '1-'...? I might need to do a bit of "Thinking" and Testing about that one... But I needed a similar Functionality a few months ago, but I didn't really go digging hard into it as Date Calculation can be a bit tricky, so you might motivate me to give it a look...
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE').
- I don't even read the Qt if that (required) Info is not mentioned...!
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...
