Perform an action after scheduled script fails

Post by felix1212 » Mon Jul 08, 2019 8:24 am

Currently I am trying to schedule some iMacros scripts to run automatically on Chrome, and I can get an alert if the script fails to run.

First of all, I managed to follow below thread to launch Chrome to open an html which stores the iMacros scripts. I am planning to create a .bat to do this via Scheduled task.

Secondly I was trying to figure out how I can tell if the script fails. I was planning to use Scheduled Task logs to check. However, I just found out once I run the command line to launch Chrome, it just considers as success once the Chrome comes out, and it will not know if my iMacros scripts are running successfully or not. So this idea seems not working.

Now I am looking for a way in either the HTML or iMacros to do something. I am thinking if I can write to a log file, and then I use other tools to check the content of this log file to determine the result.

May I know if there is any way I can accomplish this? Thank you very much.
