Problem testing variable-driven script on 30-day trial of personal chrome extension

Post by wandrian » Wed May 20, 2020 4:13 pm

Apologies if this is documented somewhere, I've searched and not found the solution to my issue.

Use-case: create a variable driven macro that read from a file to populate a web form
Environment: extension v 10.0.5 for Chrome [Version 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)] on Windows 10 (Build 19551)

I have installed the extension from the chrome app store. I have downloaded and installed the personal 30 day trial version (didn't seem to update the browser extension at all)
I have created an account on the progress community site in an attempt to find the file-access download - nothing appears in any of the tabs (My Company's|My Active|My Expired|My Evaluations)

When I try to run a macro with a var declaration it reports "BadParameter: Unsupported variable !VAR1"

So I'm guessing I don't things setup correctly but I'm at a loss where to go.

Hi wandrian,

Sorry for the late reply... You'll need to use the Contact Us form on the iMacros website to request an evaluation license. Then you will be able to download the File Access for iMacros Extensions module from your community account and activate it with the license.
Regards,
