I bought a scripting licence back in 2006...

Post by bsams » Wed Dec 09, 2020 8:12 pm

Firstly, I apologise for having to ask. I'm sure the answer is out there on this board, but I honestly can not find it.

I am looking for a 2006 "iMacros browser; scripting edition" legacy download. The versions on the wiki only go back to 2008.
I bought a licence to it back then, and I guess I would need that same old edition to be able to use my key.

I must add, it's great to see that you are doing so well now, 14 years later.

Thank you for your time.

Hi bsams,

Please report your own post by clicking the exclamation (!) icon and provide me with your iMacros license key. I'll then see if I can match it up with an appropriate version and provide you a link to download.

The latest version that will work with your license is 6.02. Do you want this version or an earlier one? Here is what I can offer:

6.02
6.01
6.00
5.22
5.20
5.10

When I choose to ignore and install anyway, I get:

Do you have any advice, please?

Thank you. I realise that I may be expecting a bit much, to have ongoing support 14 years after purchasing the software... If I can get it installed I will not take up any more of your time, I promise!

Thank you so much.

Hi bsams,

I'm afraid you'll have to install on a WinXP machine (real or virtual), or purchase a new license for the latest version of iMacros. These older versions won't work 100% on modern Windows.

Thanks, I will install on virtual XP, no problem.
Thank you again, the fact that you are still supporting customers who purchased 14 whole years ago is amazing, and a real testament to the company!
