The iMacros products will no longer be supported by Progress (aside from customer license issues), and these forums will also no longer be moderated from the Progress side.

Where to get File Access for lifting freeware limits

Post by tanderson » Thu Mar 16, 2023 2:18 pm

Hi all,

I just unearthed some information from the revision history of one of the iMacros wiki pages that should be useful for anyone looking to continue using the iMacros browser extensions--for Chrome or Firefox--without any limits now that new licenses are no longer being sold:
If you don't already own iMacros 2021 (v14), you can:
  1. Download File Access for iMacros Extensions
  2. Download a license file
  3. Run the File Access installer and when the installation is complete, ensure that 'Activate iMacros license' is checked then click Finish
  4. In the iMacros License Activation app, click the 'Have a license file?' link
  5. Navigate to and select the license file that was downloaded in step 2
  6. Click OK to exit the iMacros License Activation app
  7. Restart any running instances of Chrome or Firefox
Please be aware that technical support is not provided for iMacros Personal Edition, but you can seek help from the community in the Macros forums.
Also, this page should come in handy.

Viva iMacros!
