DirectScreen supports Java 6 Update 11 and newer, but you need to disable the "next-generation" Java Plugin option, To do this, open the Control Panel, Sun Java Panel, Advanced Options and uncheck the "next-generation" Plugin option:
How to test if your setting is correct: Our Java calculator applet on http://www.iopus.com/imacros/demo/v6/java/calc/ appears only if the "next-generation" Java Plugin option is disabled!
Native Java 6.11 DirectScreen support will be available with one of the next updates.
If you do not see this option, please make sure you are using the Java control panel for V6.11 or newer.

Note: This issue has been fixed in V6.60. Manually changing the "Next generation" setting is no longer required.

The issue might be back with the latest Java update V6 Update 18. We are testing this. In any case, disabling the "next-generation" Java Plugin option solves it.
