how to use WinXP environment variables in iim.ini file

Post by rmilling » Tue May 23, 2006 8:51 pm

I want to continue using just one iim.ini file shared by all users, but I need to specify the users temp directory for the datasource and download directories. The following lines in iim.ini do not work:

PathDownload=%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\iMacros\
PathDatasources=%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\iMacros\

Is there any way to specify the user's individual temp directory or to use any other environment variables within the iMacros settings file, iim.ini?

Hi,

no, there is currently no way of using enviroment variables in the iim.ini. This is on our ToDo-List and will be available in on eof the next releases.
