Using extracted value in filename

Post by Liz » Fri Oct 21, 2005 10:21 am

I am trying to use the value that I extract as the filename. Is this possible?

This is from the macro I am trying to run:

SET !DATASOURCE \\Ptnet2\e\position.csv
SET !DATASOURCE_COLUMNS 8
SET !DATASOURCE_LINE {{!LOOP}}
SET !EXTRACT_TEST_POPUP NO
EXTRACT POS={{!col1}} TYPE=TXT ATTR=<TD<SP>class=border-ru>*
SET !VAR1 {{EXTRACT}}
SAVEAS TYPE=EXTRACT FOLDER=\\Ptnet2\e FILE={{!VAR1}}_TEST.txt

The file in this example is just saved as "_TEST.txt"

I confirmed that this is a problem in V4.31, but the issue is solved in V5.0 Beta. You can download it here http://www.iopus.com/iim/support/changelog
