How can I extract data from java applet calculator ?

Post by kang » Wed Nov 16, 2005 7:36 am

I tried to test your demo page http://www.iopus.com/iim/demo/v4/java/index.htm
I clicked record button, I click some numbers on calculator, I got sum and I recorded successfully.
But I can't extract number(sum) from calculator.
I can see the applet tag of javascript is <APPLET height=140 archive=AwtCalc2.jar width=240 align=baseline code=AwtCalc.class></APPLET>
How can I extract the value from java applet ?
Is this possible ?

You an search for specific number using our Image Recognition Plugin http://www.iopus.com/iim/irp/ .But you can not extract text like you can do with HTML web pages.

What you could do this to save the Java applect as screenshot (IIM can do this) and then use a 3rd party OCR application.
