extract relative to a link

Post by killer_mpg » Thu Mar 13, 2008 1:20 am

There is text that i would like to extract but the only way i can see to identify it is a relative extract near a link.

here is my extract macro

Code: Select all

SET BUILD 4
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Buildings
TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=SRC:*/{{BUILD}}.gif*:* EXTRACT=HTML
TAG POS=R1 TYPE=TD ATTR=TXT:*Construction<SP>Time:<SP>*m<SP>*s*:* EXTRACT=HTML
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=HREF:*&techid={{BUILD}}&planet*
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:Overview
What I did is extract the image so it wont follow the link and when get the data I want.
I was wondering if there is a was to select the link without using the extract.

this is a line from the table i am trying to extract from

Code: Select all

<tr>
<td class="l">
<a href="index.php?page=infos&session=8ffc695a14b0&gid=4">
<img src="/evolution/gebaeude/4.gif" align="top" border="0" height="120" width="120"></a></td>
<td class="l">
<a href="index.php?page=infos&session=8ffc695a14b0&gid=4">Solar Plant</a> (level 6)<br>Solar power plants absorb energy from solar radiation. All mines need energy to operate.<br>Requirements: Metal: <b>854</b> Crystal: <b>341</b><br>Construction Time: 28m 42s<br></td>
<td class="l">
<a href="index.php?page=b_building&session=8ffc695a14b0&modus=add&techid=4&planet=34241249">
<font color="#00ff00">upgrade<br>level  7</font></a>
</td>
</tr>

Can you please post the URL of the web page and/or the macro that creates the problem? This would allow us to quickly re-create the issue on our test systems.
