How to automate Chrome v21 (dev channel) with iimOpen("-cr")

Post by Tech Support » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:04 pm

In order to launch iMacros for Chrome using the iMacros Scripting Interface, it is necessary to make sure "Always run" is selected for the iMacros Chrome extension.

We think there is a bug in their implementation of "run always" button in the current Chrome developer channel (V21) -> it doesn't save the state.

There is a workaround: navigate to chrome://plugins and check "run always" checkboxes for both iMacros plugins. We assume the Chrome team will fix the bug when v21 becomes stable. But for now, please use the workaround.
