Check if imacro is running

Post by shaves » Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:49 pm

I have an Excel macro with several buttons. The first button opens the iMacros browser and logs on to a PeopleSoft application.

The next button does a number of things. I would like to add an edit to check if the iMacros browser is open (meaning the user has already logged into PeopleSoft). How can I check to see if the iMacros browser is already open? Is there a command I can use and then read the error code to determine if iMacros has not been opend?

Thanks........

Hi shaves,

You can handle the errors with the command iimGetErrorText which returns the last error and the error code in your script.
Please also see the lists of the general iMacros and Scripting Interface Error Codes:
