iMacros EOL - Attention!

The renewal maintenance has officially ended for Progress iMacros effective November 20, 2023 and all versions of iMacros are now considered EOL (End-of-Life). The iMacros products will no longer be supported by Progress (aside from customer license issues), and these forums will also no longer be moderated from the Progress side.

Thank you again for your business and support.

Does scripting work for Personal Edition?

Post by carvel » Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:59 pm

HI, for the $99 personal edition, does scripting work? I can't seem to get a basic macro started using vbs or javascript. When I try to run a vbs script I get an error that says ActiveX component can't create object: "imacros". The problem seems to be the CreateObject line in the code. Never had that problem with old versions of iMacros.

Hi carvel,

The iMacros scripting interface (API) is only available with an Enterprise Edition license.
