issue passing variables

Post by jayv » Wed Oct 03, 2007 12:49 am

i am new to iMacros so it may be something i am doing wrong, but when i try to pass in variables via the command line to my script, the variables don't seem to populate. I am using the free version for now - could this be a limitation of the free version?? or have i got the syntax all messed up?

version 6.00 - imacros browser build 261 (trial version)

example command line call...
imacros -macro test -var_IP 192.0.0.1

example script...
VERSION BUILD=6000818
TAB T=1
TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS
URL GOTO=http://{{!IP}}/login.asp

thanks!

The exclamation mark ! is reserved for built-in variables. So if you use -var_IP than please use {{IP}} in macro.
