Are spaces <SP> taken care of in input params?

Post by jayv » Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:49 pm

When i pass in a variable, via the scripting interface and that value has spaces in it, does imacros automatically add in the <SP> or must i ensure they are there prior to passing in the value?

Example:
m.iimSet("-var_LOC", "East Tower");
TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=NAME:login ATTR=ID:location CONTENT=${{LOC}}

i want it to be the equivilent of...
TAG POS=1 TYPE=SELECT FORM=NAME:login ATTR=ID:location CONTENT=$East<SP>Tower

Hello,
does imacros automatically add in the <SP> or must i ensure they are there prior to passing in the value?
When passing the value as variable, the blank spaces are already part of the content of the variable. So, in

Code: Select all

m.iimSet("-var_LOC", "East Tower");
{{LOC}} contains already a blank space. There is no need to input <SP>.

I hope to have answered your question

Marcia
