Hi Support,
I have purchased the scripting version of iMacros. I'm trying extract the HREF of a link, which I thought would be a simple task. So far, I can't get the HREF element even though I can get the TXT and HTM elements. It's an internal site but here's the HTML from the link I'm trying to extract:
Code: Select all
<A CLASS="ReportingTitleLink" HREF="file:///\\Buildmaster\package_2" target="new">
<IMG SRC="package1.gif" BORDER=0 WIDTH=22>
<BR><FONT COLOR="WHITE" SIZE="1" FACE="Verdana"><B>[Package Output]</b></FONT>
</A>
I don't have any control over the HTML code. The line I tried to use was:
Code: Select all
TAG POS=1 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:[Package Output] EXTRACT=HREF
But it didn't work.
Any ideas how I can extract the HREF section?
Many thanks for your time.
B.

Hi, your TAG command does not work, as the "<b>" tag does not have a HREF attribute.
It is the "<a ...>" tag that has it:
Code: Select all
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:*Package<SP>Output* EXTRACT=HREF
