I guess there is confusion between macros and scripts.

The iMacros macros is what you get when recording a web session. They look like this:

Code: Select all

TAG POS=1 TYPE=TD ATTR=ALIGN:center EXTRACT=TXT
SET !VAR1 {{!EXTRACT}}
and then there are (VBS) scripts that look like that:

Code: Select all

iplay = iim1.iimPlay("wsh-extract-rate")
If iplay = 1 Then
s = "One US$ costs " + iim1.iimGetLastExtract(1) + " EURO or " + iim1.iimGetLastExtract(2) + " British Pounds (GBP)"
else
s = "The following error occurred: " + iim1.iimGetLastError()
End If
Please find some examples in your iMacros folder: Examples -> Windows Scripting Host.

The following tutorial might be helpful, too: http://wiki.imacros.net/Loop_after_Query_or_Login

No, you have two files: The VBS file that is called "myscript.vbs" and resides somewhere on your disk. And then you have the macro file ("mymacro.iim") in the iMacros macro directory.

You run the VBS by double-clicking it, and if its code says so, it will start iMacros and run your macros.
