iMacros EOL - Attention!

The renewal maintenance has officially ended for Progress iMacros effective November 20, 2023 and all versions of iMacros are now considered EOL (End-of-Life). The iMacros products will no longer be supported by Progress (aside from customer license issues), and these forums will also no longer be moderated from the Progress side.

Thank you again for your business and support.

Sincerely,
The Progress Team

iMacro Sidebar opens with any key

Post by jbrown » Mon Jul 17, 2017 10:46 am

Linux LFS 7.6
Firefox 45.9.0
iMacros 9.0.3

If "F8 keyboard shortcut" isn't set, the sidebar opens with any unassigned key on any tab, i.e. entering an URL and pressing ENTER opens both the web page and the iMacros sidebar. Typing anything in a website's input field and pressing ENTER opens the iMacros sidebar. Moreover, when pressing any key on an empty tab twice (to make the sidebar disappear again) the cursor and focus vanishes from the address bar.

I'm sure this isn't the way it's supposed to work. Previous 8.9.7 worked fine.

Yep, some other User had already reported it in this Thread/Post...

v8.9.7 for FF is btw "the" stable and recommended Version to use on FF, compared to v9.0.3 for FF which is a bit buggy and limited...
(v8.9.7 still works on FF54, in case you were wondering...)
- (F)CI(M) = (Full) Config Info (Missing): iMacros + Browser + OS (+ all 3 Versions + 'Free'/'PE'/'Trial').
- FCI not mentioned: I don't even read the Qt...! (or only to catch Spam!)
- Script & URL help a lot for more "educated" Help...
