Auto Comments in Facebook

by matiaslawwliet on Wed Sep 17, 2014 1:45 pm

Hi I have a problem. I am creating a js for firefox (updated) windows 7 32bit.

My project is to create a function that creates autocomentarios. My problem: how I can do to make it after commenting "press" the "Enter" key?

Comments are only for photos.

Code: Select all
function coment(){
   var code = "CODE:";
      code += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=ID:u_* ATTR=ID:js_* CONTENT=(y)\n";
         iimPlay(code);
coment();

From already, thank you very much.

FCIM...! :mrgreen:

Use the EVENT Mode...
- (F)CIM = (Full) Config Info Missing: iMacros + Browser + OS with all 3 Versions...
- I usually don't even read the Question if that (required) Info is not mentioned...
- Script & URL usually help a lot for a more "educated" Help...

I tried, but not working.
For example, EVENT Recording Mode returns me the following code:

Code: Select all
EVENT TYPE=CLICK SELECTOR="#js_7" BUTTON=0
EVENTS TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR="#js_7" CHARS="(y)"

The problem is that facebook changes "7". Sometimes it js_7, js_0, js_32, etc.
I can not use "*", because the syntax does not allow me. But maybe you know some kind of vareable, similar to the role that normally meets *. :|

Yep, but "FCIM" is a Question... You answer my Questions first or I don't follow up like in your previous Thread...

iMacros for Firefox 8.8.2
Firefox 32.0.1
Windows 7 32bits

My project looks like this:

Code: Select all
function coment(){
  var code = "CODE:";
      code += "URL GOTO=https://www.facebook.com/Matias.M.Lawwliet/posts/322141481284995\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=ID:* ATTR=ID:* CONTENT=(y)\n";
   iimPlay(code);}
coment();

What I need now is to press "enter" to send the comment.

Sorry about FCIM, but my English is bad.

Good, finally... Take the habit when opening a new Thread to always mention your Full Config Info, even if you think it (or some part) is not relevant... Many Commands are Browser or Version specific...

For example, EVENT Recording Mode returns me the following code:

Code: Select all
EVENT TYPE=CLICK SELECTOR="#js_7" BUTTON=0
EVENTS TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR="#js_7" CHARS="(y)"

"I tried, but not working." is always very vague, luckily you mention what you tried, though I don't see any 'ENTER' (KEY=13) in your Code, and you didn't mention any Syntax or RuntimeError...

But you can mix several Recording Modes in the same Macro.

Pressing 'ENTER' in EVENT Mode:
Code: Select all
EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=* KEY=13

which should give the following with your Macro created on the fly (if your first Script was working fine until the 'ENTER'...):
Code: Select all
function coment(){
  var code = "CODE:";
      code += "URL GOTO=https://www.facebook.com/Matias.M.Lawwliet/posts/322141481284995\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=ID:* ATTR=ID:* CONTENT=(y)\n";
      code += "EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=* KEY=13\n";
   iimPlay(code);}
coment();

You may need to add a mini 'WAIT' Statement before the 'ENTER', the EVENT Mode is quite slow...

Do not press the "Enter" key.

I tried using in addition to your code:

Code: Select all
function coment(){
  var code = "CODE:";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=ID:* ATTR=ID:* CONTENT=holaa\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=BUTTON KEY=13\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
   iimPlay(code);}
coment();

SELECTOR = BUTTON: nothing,write the comment, but do not press enter.

Code: Select all
function coment(){
  var code = "CODE:";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "TAG POS=1 TYPE=TEXTAREA FORM=ID:* ATTR=ID:* CONTENT=holaa\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
      code += "EVENT TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR=TEXTAREA KEY=13\n";
      code += "WAIT SECONDS=2\n";
   iimPlay(code);}
coment();

SELECTOR = TEXTAREA: Generates a "Ctrl + Enter" in the text box, but do not send it.

Image

And this is what I get when recording with imacros in EVENT MODE:

Code: Select all
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=https://www.facebook.com/Matias.M.Lawwliet/posts/322141481284995
EVENT TYPE=CLICK SELECTOR="#js_32" BUTTON=0
EVENTS TYPE=KEYPRESS SELECTOR="#js_32" CHARS="hola"

alternative?
