Banning forum spammers

I am a moderator on some forums and someone thought it would be funny to make hundreds of accounts and generate massive amounts of spam. I made a macro to delete the threads he is creating, but I can't figure out how to make a macro to ban all the accounts he is creating. I can find them all easy en...

Re: 2 questions I haven't found the answer to elsewhere

To open a new window, you can use TAB OPEN See http://wiki.imacros.net/TAB I was aware of the tab function but didn't think it could be used to open new windows. I'm still not quite sure how this can be done even after looking through that page on the wiki. Is it possible to maybe use the imacro bo...

Re: 2 questions I haven't found the answer to elsewhere

This is about what I expected for an answer. There was a part of the first question you missed though. when I open the new window, is it possible to either a. continue the macro in that window, or b. cause a new macro to start there?

2 questions I haven't found the answer to elsewhere

I was wondering if it is possible to do 2 things with imacros for firefox. if they were possible this could really simplify some things for me. 1. is it possible to open a new window in firefox and have it either continue the same macro or start a new one? If I can and have to start a new macro, can...

Re: a little technical help

I made an edited version of the greasemonkey script that autorefreshes after 60 seconds http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/32823 and one that refreshes after 75 seconds http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/32822 That way it wouldn't be necessary to edit them I would really suggest you set your timeo...

Re: A little Question

it seems like you are asking for a variable number.
It's possible you could use the extract command to do so, but I'm not very knowledgeable with that. Someone else could help you I'm sure, but they would probably need more specific information

Re: a little technical help

There is also an option in greasemonkey to exclude certain pages too, so if your postdata pages always have a similar url you can add them to the exclude list.

Re: How to auto-upload files?

Personally I've always had the best luck with form filling by using the tag method of clicking. I would mess around with it myself but since I don't have access to your site, i would suggest recording the macro once with each of the methods, then splicing in different commands until you find which o...

Re: How to prevent that "close all tabs" message?

When it asks if you want to close all tabs before recording, hit cancel instead of ok. It will still record, and not close the tabs. Just make sure that every time you run that macro you are in the same tab slot that you were when you recorded it, or it will automatically switch to that tab.

Re: ERRORIGNORE YES doesn't work on TIMEOUT

This is actually a pretty well documented error in these forums. They have said that there is going to be a much more advanced set loadcheck command in the next update. in the meantime I have found a workaround that will let your script continue on. I posted it in this topic: http://forum.imacros.ne...

a little technical help

It seems that just about everybody has the same problem when it comes to Imacros for firefox, and that is error 802 operation timed out. The loadcheck command doesn't work, the errorignore command doesn't work and the errormacro command isn't included in firefox (I believe that just having a macro w...
