Re: "TypeError: filename is null, line: 11 (Error code: -100

Hi,

Instead of SAVEAS, you should use ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=* FILE=* WAIT=YES before TAG...EVENT:SAVEITEM.
E.g.

Code: Select all

ONDOWNLOAD FOLDER=* FILE=* WAIT=YES
TAG POS=1 TYPE=IMG ATTR=SRC:*fifaLogo.gif CONTENT=EVENT:SAVEITEM

Re: User Input

Sorry, I must have misunderstood you. Are you referring to a drop-down on a website or a custom drop-down that you want to create?

Re: how do I manually Stop a Looping Script

Hi, The script is started as a VBS and thats where it contains the loop Oh, but see what happens: when you stop the macro, iMacros stops it, but because the loop is not in iMacros, but in your .vbs script, your script then starts iMacros again in the next loop. So what I suggest you could do is chec...

Re: continue from certain script line

P.S. Yes, Excel is simplest, but you could also use notepad if you wish. Most important is that the resulting file follows this format description: http://wiki.imacros.net/csv

Re: continue from certain script line

Hi Andres,

Have a look here:
http://wiki.imacros.net/TAG#Special_TAG ... Down_Menus

Basically you can replace the %1434 with $actual_name_of_the_option. Those names are of course much easier to store in a .csv than numbers.

Re: continue from certain script line

Hi, I see! In this case I suggest you add the drop-down options to a .csv file, like option1_1 option1_2 option2_1 option2_2 option3_1 option3_2 ... Then add this to the beginning of the macro: SET !DATASOURCE path_to_csv_file.csv 'or just file name if the file is in default 'sources' folder - see i...

Re: continue from certain script line

Hi, Correct me if I got this wrong: all you need is to get this macro select a different drop-down option on line 9 (instead of '9 pause') on each iteration. I.e. have it run 10 times, do the same thing every time, the only difference being the drop-down option in 9? If so, then you could do it usin...

Re: how do I manually Stop a Looping Script

Hi,

Are you hitting the 'stop' button of iMacros or that of browser? Because the iMacros stop button is exactly for this and it works fine on my end.

Re: New to iMacros: Problems Replaying & Activating iMacros

Hi, The problem with the last line of your code is that when you hover the mouse over that preview image, the image changes to preview_on.gif and this is what iMacros records. However when it plays back, the mouse doesn't hover over the image and the preview_on.gif doesn't exist on the page yet. I l...

Re: XPATH works in Firefox but not in IE

Hi James,

You're very welcome!

Strange, it worked for me in FX 7.
Relative positioning can be used for preceding elements as well (like POS=R-1), but XPATH looks more elegant anyway :)

Re: XPATH works in Firefox but not in IE

Hi James, Here is what worked for me for both iMacros Browser and Firefox: TAG XPATH="//table[@class='shipping-address-list']/tbody/tr/td/div/ul/li[contains(text(),'Japan')]" Could you try that please? Just FYI, you could alternatively use relative positioning: http://wiki.imacros.net/Data_Extractio...

And yet another question: what version of iMacros are you using?
