JS Question: How to use ReG Exs to do comparisons

So I've sort of hit a road bump. I'm using extracted data to check against a static variable. Even though the variables look identical they are not and my while loop is not working. So I figure it would just be easier to have a variable that is a regular expression that matches my extracted data and...

Re: How to do next thing immediately without waiting loading

I think what you are looking for is here http://wiki.imacros.net/!TIMEOUT_STEP Tweaking !TIMEOUT_PAGE is also a good idea. I like a value of about 30 (60 is default). If you just change !TIMEOUT_PAGE you will also change your !TIMEOUT_STEP as it is by default 1/10 of the timeout page variable. IE th...

Re: Palemoon doesn't work with imacros

Currently Pale Moon isn't supported. Don't feel bad, neither is SeaMonkey. I have requested that all Mozilla based browsers be supported in my Feature Request and Bug Thread which is sticky'd here. I doubt TS will read it... but the effort has been made :)

wiki page for EVENT

There is a grammatical error on the wikki page for EVENT. http://wiki.imacros.net/EVENT Under Notes section: We are especially interested to hear about in websites that do not not despite using the new EVENT(s) command. I've read this like 5x and I still don't get what they are looking for. Also thi...

Re: iMacros JS Demos fail to run

Thanks Tom, If I can be any help let me know. Please keep me informed of any findings. UPDATE: Enlight of this problem I thought it best to move my scripts to the local drive and if need be cart them around on USB. In working with a .js that is local I've hit the same error as before. Re: iMacros JS Demos fail to run

Hi additional001, Do the .js samples work if you run them from a local folder on your machine? Yes they run locally fine. Please note also that we don't officially provide support for using iMacros with non-production releases of Firefox. Duely noted but I'm not only useing Developer Editions. I us...

Re: iMacros JS Demos fail to run

The confusion continues. After writing a few .js macros I've come across one that seems to have no syntax issues but it's giving me this. It doesn't happen on all scripts just certain ones... and only them. [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520001 (NS_ERROR_FILE_UNRECOGNIZED_PATH) ...

Re: How to "NEXT" step if found some text ?

Your HLink variable is not being constructed correctly. Also you had some things that might have been capitalization errors in the last TAG line. This would be my correction. var nL="\n" HLink ="CODE:" HLink = HLink+"URL GOTO=http://www.tiepnoi.com/traodoi_google.php"+ "nL; HLink = HLink+"VERSION BU...

Re: Extracting Content from <div>

So what I'm asking for, is a solution which is capable of extracting the text and saves it in a variable for using in filling my forms. I can think of two methods of doing this. Well three actually but two of them are similiar. First I have a question though. The answer to the question would determ...

Re: TAB OPEN opens 2 tabs

If you include a TAB OPEN and your browser is set to open links in new tab it probably would open 2 tabs. It's probably not a bug. It just sounds like to me you don't need a TAB OPEN line you just need to TAB T=n to the correct tab line. I think and I could be wrong here but the only time you really...

iimGetExtract vrs iimGetLastExtract: NOT the same!

Kickin' it with old school code using iimGetLastExtract var SBHome var SBLogin var SBLoginChk1 var SBLoginChk2 var nL="\n" var i SBHome = "CODE:" SBHome = SBHome+"SET !ERRORIGNORE YES" + nL SBHome = SBHome+"SET !TIMEOUT_PAGE 30" +nL SBHome = SBHome+"TAB T=1" + nL SBHome = SBHome+"TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS"...

Re: Adding the name of the .IIM macro into the extract possi

I could be wrong here but I don't see how this is possible with just using iim scripting methods. It's probable however this could be done with another scripting language on top of iim code ie JavaScript or VBS etc. In fact I'm almost positive it is. It is however currently beyond my knowledge to do...

Re: Simple Extraction Question. Back to Basics for me!

Thanks Skippyto. It was indeed a matter of performing the iimPlay before trying to set the variable... corrected code follows. var SBHome var SBLogin var SBLoginURL var nL="\n" var i SBHome = "CODE:" SBHome = SBHome+"TAB T=1" + nL SBHome = SBHome+"TAB CLOSEALLOTHERS" + nL SBHome = SBHome+"URL GOTO=h...
