2 questions for the price of one, bargain!!!

1. Is there anyway to check for a buttons presence on a page without actually clicking on it? (this applies to links as well)

2. Is there anyway to check for a * on a page, rather than it always acting as a wildcard.

Thanks.

Code Samples:
1.

Code: Select all

'check for cancel button
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:SUBMIT FORM=NAME:* ATTR=NAME:cancel
'check for link
TAG POS=1 TYPE=A ATTR=TXT:View<SP>limitations
2.

Code: Select all

'check for mandatory text
TAG POS=1 TYPE=P ATTR=TXT:Required<SP>fields<SP>are<SP>marked<SP>by<SP>*
'check for field
TAG POS=1 TYPE=LABEL ATTR=TXT:required<SP>*<SP>First<SP>Name:
