How to extract a dynamic content field in a web page.

Post by hlkn » Thu Oct 06, 2005 12:09 pm

I have a web that contains few dynamic fields. These fields are updated using the Pushlet Technology. I need to monitor the status changes of these field.

How to I go about polling the content of these fields and stop when I see a particular status.

You can use keyword search. See http://www.iopus.com/iim/help/faq_search_keyword.htm for details.

If you want to find out if the page has been UPDATED, you can extract the latest found keyword and search for it. Once it is no longer found => page has been updated.
